MANAGE
DEPOSITS AND CONSOLIDATE FUNDS MORE EFFICIENTLY
Concentrating
your company’s cash is one of the most effective steps you
can take toward better management and use of your funds. Through
the use of the Automated Clearing House (ACH) system, CB&T’s
Cash Concentration service provides a fast, cost-effective
means of moving funds from accounts with other financial institutions
into a single, easily monitored account at California Bank &
Trust.
If your company
has locations making deposits at local banks, or if you have lockbox
banks throughout the state or across the nation, Cash Concentration
allows you to maximize your use of available funds.
- Daily transfer
amounts are reported to CB&T by your corporate office, company
locations, or the local banks in a variety of ways -- by direct
transmission, PC ACH Origination, or CalBank
Network ACH module, CB&T's Internet cash management service.
- Reported
amounts generate ACH transactions for next-business-day availability
to your CB&T concentration account.
- Daily concentration
activity is reported online through CalBank Network’s Same
Day Balance Reporting service.
Advantages of CB&T’s Cash
Concentration:
More
reliable cash flow since deposits move from other institutions
directly into your company’s concentration account at California
Bank & Trust, and mail float associated with checks is eliminated.
Improved
control of local balances, as pre-determined balance levels
(including zero balances) at each deposit bank are easily maintained,
and pockets of idle funds are eliminated.
Cost
effective funds transfers by using next-day ACH transactions
versus more expensive same-day wire transfers.
Increased
use of funds since consolidated funds are readily available
for investment, debt reduction, and other daily disbursement purposes.
Flexible
options for informing CB&T of transfer amounts, including
direct transmissions, PC ACH originations, or CalBank Network ACH module.
Timely
information of daily concentration amounts reported through
CalBank Network’s Same Day Balance Reporting feature.
