California Bank & Trust (CB&T), a leading financial institution serving businesses and individuals across the state, is strengthening its title as Official Bank of San Diego FC (SDFC) for the Club’s second Major League Soccer season. In association with SDFC, CB&T introduces new bonus offers for its Young Savers account to support youth and families in San Diego and will be the presenting sponsor for the April 11 match against Minnesota United FC, which will feature activities, prizes and giveaways.
As part of this week’s match day festivities, focused on community and honoring the individuals and groups that make San Diego unique, a special captain’s pennant will be given to the first 25,000 fans as they enter Snapdragon Stadium and CB&T leaders will participate in a ceremonial coin toss.
Additionally, CB&T launched its Young Savers account, designed to financially empower families and youth throughout San Diego. To open a Young Savers account, you only need a minimum deposit of $5. If the account remains open for at least 90 days, youth will qualify for a $25 cash bonus, which will be credited to their new CB&T deposit account at the time the bonus is paid.
In addition, customers who establish and complete three recurring monthly automatic transfers from a CB&T Gold Account to their Young Savers account within the first 90 days will receive an additional $100 bonus, deposited directly into their Gold Account. To open a Gold Account, a minimum deposit of $50 is required, and each transfer must be at least $5. Once the account qualifications are met, the bonus will be deposited into the Gold Account within 60 days. The account must remain open at the time the bonus is paid. In total, families can earn up to $150 in bonuses by taking advantage of these offers. For further information, please consult the Deposit Account Agreement, Account Disclosure, Deposit Rate Sheet, and Personal Account Schedule of Fees, or speak with a CB&T banker.
“We’re excited to be the presenting sponsor of this weekend’s match to celebrate our collaborative association with San Diego FC and our shared commitment to the local community,” said CB&T Executive Vice President, Regional President Steve Stuckey. “At CB&T, we recognize the importance of uplifting local changemakers and supporting initiatives that empower San Diegans and contribute to the vibrancy and economic progress of our region. We look forward to connecting with fans at Snapdragon Stadium and providing memorable experiences that strengthen the bond between the club, its supporters and the broader community.”
Together, San Diego FC and CB&T are committed to shaping San Diego’s future by fostering meaningful community engagement and empowering individuals and local businesses to drive the region’s economic growth. Earlier this year, CB&T completed a comprehensive financial literacy program for young athletes at San Diego FC’s Right to Dream Academy and in 2025, CB&T raised $75,000 for the Academy’s scholarship fund through its inaugural Drive the Dream Golf Tournament. Another recent effort is CB&T’s first-ever 2026 Financial Futures Award Program, offering educators in grades K-8 the chance to win an exclusive prize package for their classroom by registering to teach a financial literacy lesson.
This year, CB&T will continue with its monthly sweepstakes, giving those who enter the chance to win match tickets and a $100 gift card for Eighteen Threads, the official store of San Diego FC. Official rules apply. Participation in the CB&T Sweepstakes is open to legal residents of California who are at least 18 years of age. No purchase is necessary to enter or win. Employees of CB&T, its affiliates, their immediate family members and individuals residing in the same household are not eligible to participate. All applicable taxes on prizes are the sole responsibility of the winners.
