California Bank & Trust (CB&T), a leading bank serving businesses and individuals across the state, raised a total of $96,809 through its 2026 California Giving Campaign facilitated by United Way. Driven by employee donations, the campaign has been a core part of CB&T’s corporate social responsibility for more than 30 years.
By working with United Way, CB&T employees supported over 89 non-profit organizations that help thousands of people in California communities. United Way is the world’s largest privately funded non-profit, supporting individuals in 95% of U.S. communities, as well as in 40 countries and territories. For nearly 140 years, it has supported programs that improve health, provide opportunities for young people and enhance financial resilience.
The California Giving Campaign is just one example of how CB&T works to improve communities. In addition to charitable giving, the bank finances sustainability projects, awards community development grants and sponsors key non-profit organizations. The bank also encourages its associates to get involved in the volunteer activities of their choice through its CB&T Volunteer Time Off (VTO) program.
