Early giving is officially underway for CV Giving Day 2026, and community members have just a few days left to participate before the region’s largest day of online philanthropy takes place on Tuesday, March 3, 2026. Presented by California Bank & Trust (CB&T), one of California’s leading banks, along with the Desert Community Foundation, CV Giving Day brings together donors, nonprofits and local businesses to support the causes that strengthen the Coachella Valley.
Early giving allows donors to make contributions ahead of the 24-hour giving day, helping nonprofits build momentum while ensuring gifts count toward overall fundraising totals and prize challenges. With dozens of local organizations participating, early donations provide critical support and help nonprofits plan, promote and maximize their impact leading up to March 3.

Participating in CV Giving Day is simple and accessible for everyone:
• Visit cvgivingday.org to browse participating nonprofits. Use the Find Your Cause search bar or tap Discover in the top menu to explore participating nonprofits. Once you find your favorite, click their profile and hit Donate.
• Choose one or more organizations to support. You can give to multiple organizations in one transaction.
• Ask your employer if they will match your charitable donation.
• Share your support with friends and family to inspire even more giving.
• There’s over $100,000 in prize money that will directly support the nonprofits participating, so every dollar matters!

All early donations are included in CV Giving Day totals and help nonprofits qualify for the incentive prizes and community challenges funded by local partners.
